Lanais and screen rooms, Cape Coral and Fort Myers

The room you'll actually use

In Southwest Florida the lanai is where you live. Coffee out there in January. Dinner out there in August, if the screen's tight and the mosquitoes stay on their side. When it's not tight, you stop going out. Then you start calling around and hit the same wall a Fort Myers homeowner did: "One company never replied, one gave a phone estimate without ever seeing the job."

K.O. Solutions FL builds custom lanais, screened rooms and entry enclosures across Cape Coral and Fort Myers under Florida certified general contractor license CGC1541506. That's a state GC license, not a screen-only card. Josh comes to the house, measures, and gives you one straightforward price with no hidden fees. The estimate is free, and he does it in person.

New lanai on a slab. A screen room under the roof you already have. A two-story enclosure on a stilt house. A screened entry so the front door stops letting bugs in. Bronze or white frame, doors and sliders where you want them. It's a conversation at the estimate, not a menu.

What we do

  • Custom lanais and screen enclosures on new or existing slabs
  • Screened rooms under an existing roof line
  • Two-story and multi-level enclosures
  • Entry enclosures and screened front porches
  • Screen doors and slider panels
  • Rescreens and repairs on the lanai you already have
  • Multi-unit runs for condos and associations

Built the way the reviews say

Delaney P. wrote on Angi that Josh and Jeff were "highly informative, easy to work with even though I had a difficult schedule." That's the job. You've got work, kids, a calendar. The crew shows up when Josh said they would, keeps the yard clean, and walks the finished room with you before it's called done.

If your lanai is older and the frame is fine, you might just need a rescreen. Josh will tell you which. If it's a new build, ask him what's in the number before you sign anything. He'll tell you straight. Ask about our warranty too.

Every lanai in the photos below is one of ours. Real backyards across Southwest Florida.

Lanai questions

What's the difference between a lanai and a screen room?

Around here, not much. A lanai is the covered porch off the back of the house. A screen room is that porch with screen walls and a door. We build both, and we screen in the one you already have.

Can you screen my front entry?

Yes. Entry enclosures are a regular job for us. Same frame, same screen, same crew. Josh will measure it at the free estimate along with anything else you want looked at.

The last guy took a deposit and stopped answering. Why are you different?

Start with the license. CGC1541506 is a state certified GC number you can look up tonight. Then ask Josh how the deposit works before you sign anything. He'll tell you straight, and it'll be in writing.
